We are looking for Program Managers who can work with the leadership team and strengthen our communities and build our business development pipeline.

It’s a fine morning: perfect for working on some ideas that could change the trajectory of Obvious. After breakfast and coffee, you sign in to work. 💻

You start with ongoing conversations with potential clients, ranging from brand names that have become verbs, to startups. You catch up with the team, consisting of the leads and others program managing the community and sales engines. You are working on many interesting projects ranging from potential engagement inquiries at different stages of closure, to setting up community events with founders and industry leaders, to ideating on the ten core skills offered at the inaugural stage of Obvious University. 📚

You can see yourself applying your strengths of juggling multiple projects and managing details of different conversations with warmth and authenticity. You make sure stuff gets done, and on time. ⏰

With every discussion and task, you evolve as a program manager at one of the leading product consultancies in India.

    What you will do ✅

    • Collaborate directly with the founders and executive teams as an IC to help execute a strong sales strategy for Obvious
    • Maintain a sales pipeline, move people from one stage to the next of the pipeline, lead inbound sales query conversations and oversee related administrative tasks
    • Actively identify and reach out to potential clients on LinkedIn/Twitter/IRL communities to generate leads
    • Work with the Communications team to build sales pitches and maintain sales collateral

    What you will need 💼

    • 0-3 years of experience within sales operations or a similar role and a body of work that demonstrates expertise and craft
    • Strong capability to understand sales processes and client realities to deliver exceptional outcomes
    • A grasp on organisational skills and analytics to manage and interpret sales data to improve our strategy
    • Clear communication skills and an extroverted attitude
    • Authentic connections within the industry
